Re: How much did you pay for the Coupe?

I couldn't get dick off sticker where I dealt. But my trade ins are what kept me going back. They gave me $33K for my 2k2 Max on a trade on the Sedan back in June. Didn't think that was too bad-- Max had 12k klicks and 8 months on it and cost $37 new. Coupled with the tax savings of $5k that was a good deal.
Likewise with the Sedan trade for the Coupe: They gave me $41k off sticker (MSRP) on the Coupe for the Sedan with 14k klicks and 8 months on it. Coupled with the tax savings of about $6k that was good too. Still would be nice to know all the numbers b4 shopping...thanks for the URL

I've seen the car show you mentioned. It's weekly with repeats on Sunday or Monday and is co-hosted by a guy named Muhammad. Interesting show.

Re: How much did you pay for the Coupe?

yeah, getting a good value on your trade-in is always a big plus. I actually got a good deal on my trade-in when I purchased my G. Traded in my 99 Jeep TJ Sahara with manual and no air condition for $20,500, and I had about 51K kms on it when I signed the deal ( had over 60K kms when I actually took it in for the delivery of my G 2+ months later ). So with tax savings, it was like I sold my Jeep for $23,575, considering I paid $28,700 on the road when I bought it in 99, it was a good deal.

Man, you sure have a habit of buring your cash quickly by trading in your almost new vehicles eh? You know, the 2k2 Maxima for the G sedan, and then the G sedan for the G coupe....ah....it should be me asking you for cash

Re: How much did you pay for the Coupe?

I actually got $1k off the MSRP on a coupe with AT + performance, but got that through a friend. When I told Vinnie at 401 Dixie Infiniti (in Mississauga) that I had gotten that deal at another dealership he told me I should have come back to him because he would have matched it, even though he said no negotiating when I was talking to him (he did claim to never have said no negotiating though).

$1K.......that's a sweet deal, esp. considering how little (if any, lol) room they budge on

Vinnie the car sales man eh? Somehow that name really fits him well...damn, I really hated guys like that. Not only because he wouldn't give discount while he could, but also after learning you got it from somewhere else, instead of making you, a potential customer for his service department feels good, he had to say something that he could have matched it or even beat it had you went to him again. [censored]....what a lowlife scumbag....absolutely hate Vinnie and anyone who looks like him :P

Re: How much did you pay for the Coupe?

I agree. My experience with him up to that point had been very positive then he goes and throws that out. Not a huge thing in the big picture but just another case of a car salesman lying.

Re: How much did you pay for the Coupe?

OK... so here's what I have been quoted at from Yorkville Infinti
for a 2003 G35 Coupe, 6MT/NAVI (fully loaded) SilverStone with graphite.

50,400 + fees = 51927
+ GST and PST = (7789.05)

Total =59716.05 ... out the door

Whaddya guys think... ????
think I should play the ... "this dealer can give me 1k off .. what can you do for me?" game???

Either way .. its gonna happen sooooooooonnnnnnnn
