Simoniz 10 inch random orbit polisher
I figure I'd post this here cuz Canadians probably have more experience with this product if any.
I have a Simoniz 10 inch random orbit polisher. I need to detail my car, and I am wondering if I should even bother trying to do anything with this? I know the PC is the end all be all of polishers, but does anyone have any advice on using this particular product? and if so what kind of pads, products should I get for it.
Thanks
PS i got it at Crappy Tire for 20 bucks, used it once on my old car, with moderate results, but I didnt care really how it turned out, nor did I really do much reading about how to do it correctly.

I hate talking about detailing stuff in black and white terms because I know a lot of what people like is subjective; however I can say in my experience the under $100 DA's, or really any DA aside from the PC, are pretty much crap. None of them have the power to do any correction, and most won't even help you wax. I know a PC is a sizable investment, but I can absolutely promise it'll pay for itself.
