The 17s don't fit? Do you need a spacer to make them fit over the brembos?

I run the stock 17"s and they clear the brembos. It is extremly close though (around 1MM) but it fits. I used them for 2 winters with no issues. I have Bridgestone Blizzak WS-50s and they work great. Got the rims second hand for about 600 US and 500 US for the tires all in from tiretrends.com

17" came on some a/t, -- the 18" were in an optional package on non brembo rides.
Some 17" fit over the brembos, but not many. You'd best test fit b4 buying.
No steelies that I've heard of will fit.

C.

thanks for the reply, so i guess safest bets are infiniti oem's 17 or 18, i guess i'll scour around the US side to see if they know of a cheap rim ADR or something that can fit over... or if anyone else knows that'll be awesome

17 inch BSA 264 fits over the brembos which is what I have. Lots of clearance too.

my buddy uses spacers with his 17s for winter tires and doesn't seem to have a problem, not steelies though.

As I said in the post, I picked the rims up from someone in the US. I have the original 18's for the summer. You don't need spacers with the OEM 17" rims, but as I said, they are close but I haven't had any problems in the last 2 winters of driving on them.

thanks a lot, i guess my question on 17" is that I didn't know any g35's came with 17's, but I see now that you got em used, did you avoid customs?

Yeah, since they were used, I just had to pay the GST. I got them shipped from FedEx Ground. Took a while to get in, but not too expensive in the end. Surprisingly, they are extremly light. They must be about 10 pounds lighter than my 18's.
