New Calgary G!

I have been posting on driver for a couple weeks now, but I thought I should come represent Calgary in the Canada forum.

I got my Canada member stickers in the mail today, now all I need a G to stick them on. It should be here in the next couple of weeks!!

Any other driver members representing Calgary?

Welcome, ChristianN! I'm a g35driver forum member although I sold my G sedan last April. Still in the family though, with another Nissan vehicle.

The RWD G's don't do too badly in the snow - provided you have good winter tires. I ran Blizzaks on my former G sedan and it was fine. That being said, my Z is hiding in the garage and should not see any snow this winter.

It's not a lambo, why the heck would you park it? I don't park my M45 sport.

Jeff, is that your M45 sport on level 4 of the James Short parkade? Very nice ride!!! I've parked nearby a few times when my regular spot was taken.

Re importz' comments - some people choose not to drive their sportier cars in the winter, regardless of whether their car is a Lambo or not. I drove my G sedan in the winter, but this winter I've decided not to drive my Z. Maybe a waste of money to some but I guess that's my choice, but I think I'll be just fine in my SUV (or my wife's pseudo-SUV).

Might not be practical, but if we were all practical we'd probably all be driving around in Smart cars as long as they got us around in the snow. To each their own.

Cheers.

I think that the X was a good choice, but I really only started looking seriously at the G when I found out there was an AWD option.

I'm up for a meet in the Calgary area, and april should work for me (my G better be well broken in by that point, assuming it ever leaves Vancouver!)
