Also, I don't think I have ever seen one effective smoking section in a public place.
Again don't & never did smoke.

This is a big issue with me too Shane and I'm pleased it's making further progress.

we had the law before were the smoking section had to be sealed off, with iaq regulations that were pretty strict. it was very effective here. bars wont go out of business, but watch how slow they get in the winter. it sucks when the leafs and ottawa are playing and theres 3 people in the bar where there used to be 100

I think it's also a case of actually enforcing it now too.
thats like saying i pay a cops salary so dont give me a ticket. you need a compromise. Smoing and drinking go together for many people whether its healthy or not. the sealed off room was great. no one is saying profits over health, or smokers over non smokers, but it seems as though many non smokers are just being **** disturbers and dont care about the facts

But your analogy isn't even close to being the same thing.

There's no such thing as a *sealed* room.
the glass rooms did work, but the bill was already passed. i dont even smoke anymore, not for 2 years and i still say its dumb. the glass room made everyone happy. And it was as sealed as you could get, and i didnt see one without proper ventilation.
