I understand that new cars are now tested after 5 years instead of 3 years starting Jan 1, 2006. So that is good news. I have a 2001 car though that I have been testing every 2 years and I guess that will continue. I was wondering if they have switched yet to doing OBD-II status check type tests like they do in many places in the US. I know the Ontario government talks about this on the Drive Clean site but are they doing it yet?

 

I would also like to know as well....I had never went for emission testing!
