Another Canuck Newbie!!!

Hello Everyone,

I own an '04 G35x and joined this site just a few weeks ago. I was going to make my first post back then but, as it turned out, my car was vandalized right on my own driveway overnight at around the same time period (one of the glass on the doors was smashed by some low-life). Yeah, I was p*ssed for awhile but am now slowly coming out of it!

It is real nice to see a Canadian site for sure. Anyhow, I wanted to say "Hi" to my fellow Canuck G35 owners. I am also in the GTA area.

Thanks for the warm welcome and the invite to upcoming meets --- I really appreciate the comraderie on this site.

I definitely used G35Driver to research the G and, I gotta admit, this resource is simply amazing. My hats off to the folks who moderate and maintain this site as well as to the members who post and share their information.

Yes, I am also from the TO-area (actually, Mississauga). My car was vandalized right on my driveway...shortly after it had just been washed and waxed. It's bad enough if something like this happens at the mall or the Go Station but it's downright hurtful when it occurs right on your property. I would have liked to have parked it in the garage but my wife's car and my other toy (aka "The One" by my son) were already parked inside.

By the way, I am in the market for some 17" OEM sedan rims (prefer the 5-spoke design from an '03 or '04 sedan) for mounting winter tires but would consider the 6-spoke and even the newer '05 or '06 17" designs as well. If anyone has a set they are willing to part with please PM me. I should probably place a post in the Marketplace too.

Cheers!

Welcome aboard Bro.... sorry to hear about the vandals.
Has this been an issue with neighbours, or was this the first instance in your 'hood?
Hopefully it's a one time event

Thanks for the reply Tgr. Yeah, I do suspect this was just one of those one-time events. At least I hope so. For a few days afterwards, I was giving every car that drove down my street that suspicious evil eye look...LOL...know what i mean?
