search patents with google
i just found this today:
www.google.com/patents
i think it's pretty cool. basically an easy way to search u.s. patents. it's amazing to look at people's imaginations and inventions (including some crazy off the wall stuff). u can look up things like the wright brother's flying machine.
here is patent number 1: http://www.google.com/patents?vid=US...&jtp=1#PPP1,M1
some of the ocr didn't transfer that well from the original documents. but most of it seems fairly well organized.
also... if u simply reload the home page it will randomly generate new patents for you.
