Were you thinking of a week's journey, 2 weeks, or a few days?
Or is it too early to decide?

More than likely, it will depend on if we bring our daughter or not. We are going to Europe in the fall so I can't imagine taking any more than 1 week for the Quebec trip.

I've never taken a multi-day road trip anywhere. I'm assuming there are a multitude of hotels/motels along the route of the proposed Gaspe Penninsula route?

I've not visited the Gaspe b4 only passed by on the way to New Brunswick, and not out onto the penninsula but being that it's 'touristy', I'd guess that's there are many places to stay including many B&B's.....

Shouldn't be a problem. Once a route is figured out, these places can be contacted and a bookings made if necessary. The good ones may have websights, or at least be in the local Chamber of Commerce/Tourist information.

WOW!

As far as the Gaspe there are motels along the way. It's a very rural area but shouldn't be an issue.

Hey AthensBlueG,

I would strongly recommend you trying to make this trip. I myself took a roadtrip a couple years back from Toronto to Boston, and I have to tell you, it was so much fun. The drive was about 9 hours (including stop for gas/food/smokes etc) and the sights were worth every minute!!! Not to mention that Quebec City is so beautiful (and clean), you will love it! And.......no tolls here in Canada

As for myself, you guys can count me in! As long as the date is right and I'm still alive by then, I'm there...and takin the G (I bought this car to drive it, damnit)

Troy

Can't you just set a firm date with that daughter of yours so we can work around it?

Hi all,

A get together would be great. I used to meet with another car club when I had my previous car (Pontiac GPT). I made a lot of friends and we always had so much fun.

A trip to Québec city sounds really good. We go there a few times per year and I'm sure that my wife would come along. This coming summer, probably in July, we'll also be going to my parents' place in the Magdalen Islands, Cap-aux-Meules (those islands on the far right in RBull's map on page 4). I havn't crossed NB and PEI by car for several years now. That would be nice in a G35...

Anyway, I'll kepp an eye on this thread.

Later,
