Well, I lucked out with my chipped windshield from our road trip. I went to the glass repair place today and they managed to drill out the chip and inject it with filler, so I got away without replacing the windshield .

Yes you can still see where it was, but hopefully the crack will not migrate further so the windshield will have to be replaced.
It cost $57 for the repair but it is lifetime guaranteed. If a crack ever develops where the repair was the cost is deducted off the new windshield replacement. So it is definitely worth trying.

Good news Wayne.....
especially since the repair isn't in your field of vision.

Yes I was happy that I did not have to replace it.

Now I just have my one rim with a couple scuff marks that I recieved while driving Hwy 17 in NB that was under construction. Man that road was so horrible, it makes me cringe when I think of how my car bottomed out a couple of times while on it and I was crawling along at less than 5 km/h for five kms.
I think I will wait until winter to deal with those marks once I install the snows.

Glad you got it knocked down though.

I just missed one myself.
I had just finished ripping past a slow poke & got tucked back in,
when we came across a stationary radar set up.
I was def missing Brian at that point.
Good luck Ian.

Yes, we're all missing Brian on the way home for sure. It's illegal to own one here and also in NB.

Yeah, just don't try and fight it now and you'll be fine! A friend once got stopped for doing like 90 in a 35 zone, and the cop let him off with a 20mph over ticket, and the idiot went to court, of course he lost!

Nah, fighting it (which I wouldn't have a clue how to do) won't even cross my mind. He caught me fair and square and was nice enough to knock it down for me. I'll just pay the fine and move on.
