QC was a bit busier getting out of by the time we sleepyheads got away. The G got a nice workout today with a return trip average speed of 121.5 km/hour. I won't post the top. I haven't filled up yet but the first return tank yielded 31.75 mpg and 8.85 l/ 100k

I'll post more tomorrow and maybe I can come up with a few pics too. We managed to get a couple of shots of the most unusual vehicle I can ever recall seeing on the road. I hope they turned out. More later.
Glad to hear that you and H. arrived home safely too, Deane......
Won't be long b4 you're traveling again.....
The AAE will be a blast.......

Hummm sounds like a case of lead-footitus , good time on your trip home and great mileage. I have not calculated all of my mileage figures for the whole trip, but I think my mileage is much worse than my 05X. But the car performed flawlessly, except for my chipped windshield and a few marks on my rims from that horrid road construction on Hwy 17.

Colin
I have a goodie bag for you from Shane, I had a hard time keeping Deane from it .
I have to go to the Dealers this week, I'll call you later Monday morning after I talk to them, maybe we can meet up.

Thanks Wayne, glad to see you're home safe and sound too.

Haha, probably true on the lead footitis. It was by far the fastest part of my trip. I agree, the cars all performed flawlessly but I've got some good paint chips that need repair.

LOL, keep me away from the goodie bag.

Thanks. Yep, we'll be there soon. I've got a lot going on between now and then so need to focus on that. It's also my anniversary coming up and my parents 50th next week so have to explore something there.

Thanks. Yeah, I'm off to bed shortly. We had a late night yesterday and pretty of beer.

Ian and P left a few minutes before me. I'm sure they were home some time ago.

I got back safe and sound at about 6:00 tonight. Anissa, Ava, Brian, and I had a great day yesterday. We hung out in old Quebec all morning and took an afternoon trip to the Morency Falls. We ate at an amazing Thai/Vietnamese/Cambodian restaurant last night too which was a highlight for me.

The only crappy part of the trip was getting a speeding ticket driving home through Quebec.

Good to hear you're back and you had a fine last day.

Shame about the ticket.

Yeah, it sucked getting the speeding ticket today....but oh well, it could of been worse. I was doing 84 in a 50. The officer said that was good for $157 and 3 points. He let me go with going less 20 kph and I got off with a $69 ticket and 1 point.

Yeah, that could have been a lot worse. Sounds like you did a good job communicating with the officer.

I was really cruising in parts of my trip home but always with at least one car out front doing my blocking.

Ouch.... not a nice way to finish things Shane.
Glad you got it knocked down though.

I just missed one myself.
I had just finished ripping past a slow poke & got tucked back in,
when we came across a stationary radar set up.
I was def missing Brian at that point.

awww geez Shane that does suck about getting nailed with the ticket but it is good the Officer knocked it down for you.

The only place I saw any Popos was around Montreal, I saw 2 police cars with people pulled over and 2 others lurking by the ramps. This was only in the Montreal area.

It was nice when we had Brian scouting ahead for us on the run , as Ian mentioned earlier..
