New G35 Engine & Toronto Dealer info

HI guys I was reading over at g35.ca and apparently a Gary Grant from Downtown Nissan has taken over Jerry's old chair at Yorkville. I don't know anything about this person but some of you others might. I just thought I would post that info here since some of you used to go to Yorkville Infiniti.

On the same note he has listed a new in the crate G35 coupe engine from there at Dealers cost just to get rid of it. Here is a link : http://www.g35.ca/board/index.php?showtopic=5922

Wow, Wayne, a new coupe engine in its crate at cost!...I doubt that'll be hard to move.... He doesn't say what year engine it is.
Good lead....

Here is a bit more info I copied from the other site from the new SM there concerning the new engine at Yorkville.

"the parts listing just shows it as fitting 2002 and up, g35 coupe. nobody here knows why it was ordered, nor why it never went into a car. of course there is only one employee who worked here 16 months ago!
it is a complete long block, without tranny. "

I think they mean the '03's that came out in '02.....

Don't know if the coupe engine could be used in a Sedan, but they were out in I believe it was March of '02 as early '03's. I got my Sedan in May..
Not sure exactly when the '03 coupes appeared. I'm thinking Sept/Oct..

If that helps

An interesting fact is that the 2003 G35 Coupe arrived to North American shores in November 2002, while the JDM Skyline 350GT Coupe was officially released in Japan in January 2003. I read about this news while I was waiting for my car to be delivered. Original sources from Official Nissan News Links here:

Release of 2003 Infiniti G35 Coupe http://www.nissannews.com/site_libra...pe/index.shtml
Release of 2003 Nissan Skyline 350GT Coupe http://www.nissan-global.com/EN/NEWS...030116-01.html

Ah yes, release dates as opposed to model year cars.
