AEM Intake

I know these engines are well tuned and an intake don't add anything performance wise. It is mainly for sound purposes etc. Each present a different sound, subjective to each individual's preference

I know some may even cause more harm than others, for example, in places with plenty of rain and snow etc. That is, it can even damage one's motor.

How are the AEM intakes? Anyone here have them or heard negative things about them? Not many people recommend it here, so just trying to find out more. When installed, it seemed really opened to the front bottom grill and more susceptible to the elements.

Thanks in advance.
