i just came from toronto ,drove to quebec city. my tank finished right before i reached to Quebec city showing around 720kms. it was mainly 117-119km cruise however i did clown around a bit (by clowning around accelerating hard)
i am guessing if i drive really moderate around 110kms all the way i could have reached the 800kms mark.
my car is 2003 5at, i am really happy with the mileage for a 7yr old 3.5 v6 car.

Could be a couple things....
How many km's on your car? Depending on your mileage, check your air filter, spark plugs and coil packs. If you've done any mods, be sure to reset your computer. Check your tire pressure.
Are you straight city driving, in really heavy stop-n-go? When do you normally shift if you have a manual?
Check your shoes thoroughly. Are they full of lead jk

Just over 140,000kms. I put in a new k&n air filter 8 months ago, spark plugs and belts changed 4 months ago plus my Trottlebody cleaned. After that i was getting 440kms when the gas light would go on. Now i hit 375kms when the light went on, im going to change my fuel filter tommorow and i just check my tire pressure and it was at 30PSI so i topped it to 35PSI. I mainly do 80% City 20% HWY, i dont have a heavy foot at all.
I should mention that recently it started to get colder here in Vancouver.
Anything else i should do tommorow to help? I would love it if my car would hit 500kms a tank

What kind of gas are you using in your car?
If your doing 80% driving in the city, your mileage is going to suffer greatly. You will be lucky to get 500km.
I'm driving an 03' sedan with 155,000kms. My mileage varies if I'm driving in the city. I might see 500+ km on a tank. In the winter just forget about it...

My last 6 fill ups can be seen here. Averaging 453.1km/tank at almost 100% city driving. No engine mods.
My AVG
My most recent 6 fill-ups - the first one, Sept 5, the tank was not empty when topped off.

I drive an auto 2008 G35x and on the highway after filling up it estimates about 675km but after I do some city driving it eventually gets about 550km. I want to do more testing but it seems I get more kms when I use Sunoco 94 octane vs 91 octane so the extra 2-3 cents per liter may be worth it.
