Thumbs up Picus "no business like show business"

There's a rumour floating around that Kevin is on the red carpet down at the Canadian International Autoshow in the GTA.
Great stuff Kevin

Yes, that is great stuff.

Did they need a leader for the detailing team?

I wish; I'm sure you've both been to auto shows so you know what a mess some of those cars are. Dry dusting, improper washing, it's a detailers nightmare. All I will be doing is cleaning up a few cars for one manufacturer based on the recommendation of one of their owners, nothing too dramatic. Actually it's interesting to note that all the cars in their exhibit are privately owned, otherwise I bet no one would care about their paint.

So who is going to the show?

Yes, I know exactly what you're speaking about. I was at the Toronto one about 4 years ago when in town for business.

You would be horrified at the BMW dealer showroom here Kevin. Last time I was in they had a new black 3 series on the floor that had what looked like crators in the paint from dry dusting.

I think they all do that Deane...
The morning I was picking up my car,
they had a couple of kids wandering around the showroom with Cali-dusters that were black as coal.
The cars (black especially) were a mess of swirls.

Ya it's a very lively topic over at Autopia - dealership cars, auction cars (BJ is notorious for terrible paint), auto shows, etc. It's just not something 99% of the car buying public thinks about

You're right. Pretty well every dealer I go into does murder on the showroom cars paint. I don't think some of them even use microfibre or cali dusters.

I've done two vantages, one in the fall and the other I maintain regularly. Neither of the owners is the owner of KWS as far as I know.
