Info on Offset specs Please...

Hi Guys,

2006 G35 Coupe AUTO

I got the 19's stock on the car....so i am assuming that i got this package on my auto.

*******************
The G35 Coupe 6MT and Sport-Tuned Suspension Package equipped models offer 5-spoke, 19-inch forged aluminum-alloy wheels with P225/40YR19 tires in front and P245/40YR19 tires in the rear. The Sport-Tuned Suspension Package also adds a standard Viscous Limited-Slip Differential (VSLD). All G35 coupes feature a standard Tire Pressure Monitor System (TPMS).
*******************

I have 4 sets of 225/55/17's that i am picking up today from a tire shop and i have to pick out the rims as well, for my winter setup. Seeing that around the GTA, the roads still got ice and snow on the roads, i am carrying them over to the dealer to install them as well.

Because of this, we will not have the chance to try on the different rims on the car. So i need to know what kind of offsets for the rims i will be looking at so that I can tell the tire guy and therefore narrow down the choices.

I dont want to take the tires and rims to the dealer and then it does not fit on the car based on the offsets etc.

I need to know the EXACT or range of offsets that I can put on my 06 AUTO coupe so that I will know what kind of rims I can pair with my Dunlop WinterSport M3's.

Thanks guys I really appreciate it.

I need to know this ASAP if possible....

I can't confirm the offsets on the 19's since it wasn't an option for my '04. There's something wrong with the 19" stuff you list above. They are shown as 17" with 7.5 and 8 inch wheels. Maybe these are correct for the 17" wheels. The 19" OE wheels are 8" fr and 8.5" rear.

No, no problem at all Troy. I appreciate the time u take in answering my many questions hahahaha

I have been communicating with Wayne constantly and finally gave him the go ahead to order the M3's yesterday late afternoon and it came in early this morning in his shop. Now that is delivery

I went to see him today to see in person what rims he can offer to put on my car with those offsets. He is really helpful and VERY knowledgable. I am new at this whole buying tire and wheelz thing and he gave me a lesson on what to look for etc. Very nice guy. I am happy I came across your thread that referred him.

I am probably going with #1. He says that those choices are the right offsets to install on my 06 Auto Coupe. Again, not sure about that but will trust his knowledge on it
Everyone just freaking me out on offset this and offset that....hahhaha
I will go with what he says as he is the professional.

He told me that 35 to 40 can fit on my coupe.

Does this sound right?
I just want to make sure it fits right as I will be picking up the tires and wheelz tomorrow and dropping it off at the dealer for them to install the tires on the vehicle. I don't want to drive the car on summer tires in this weather.

Thanks again.
