3M Trimline (which obviously uses 3M tint) will do all five windows for $200 plus tax.
The other place uses Sun-Gard tint (which I am not familiar with) and they quoted me $225 plus tax.
Do you guys have any recommendations on which one to go with? I am not familiar with Sun-Gard so I am really not sure.

Damn, I could have come there for a visit, had the tint done and still not been much out of pocket....
I'm not familiar with Sun-Gard...

Tinting of front windows is illegal (and, I understand, enforced) here in Alberta, and since I don't like the look of only tinting the backs, it's gonna be a hot-**** summer in my Graphite interior. Good thing I park in the garage at home and the parkade at work.

The 3M is likely ok, just make sure it's not a dyed product.

But since you are not familiar with that brand either, it might be best to stick with 3M.
Hmm, sun-gards line looks a lot like solargards. The desert charcoal is exactly the same specs as solargards hp charcoal (which I got), I wonder if it's a re-brand. In any event, the "Endurance" looks pretty good.

Oh, and as far as I can tell that law would mean you can have 70% max. 70% allows 70% light in, so it prevents 30%.
I'd still go 35% all around personally, I don't think it'd be a problem. I would just make sure to go with either a full metallic or full ceramic film, Solargard UP, Huper Optik, Pinnacle Formula One, or 3M Crystalline.

Can you briefly explain the difference between the different types of tints are? ie (full metallic or full ceramic film, Solargard UP, Huper Optik, Pinnacle Formula One, or 3M Crystalline). I plan on gettings tints in the spring, what would you recommend? 35% all around?
Thanks
