Tinting GROUP buy-in for those in the GTA -- Thornhill Tints

Just spoke to the owner of Thornhill Tints.

If you want to do tinting (any % other than privacy film), he'll give us a group buy-in rate of $220 cash (tax included). I need to get 5 total for the discounted price (he says it's regularly $250).

I'd like to get this done in the next two weeks so anyone interested send me a PM ASAP.

I've used Rick at Thornhill for my last two cars. Quality of the tint and job is excellent, but his availability stinks lately. He never has time for the everyday people anymore as he has some dealer accounts. Good for him, but I've taken my business and referals somewhere else.

Sounds like a reasonable price to me and if Chico says they do quality work than thats another plus since I know he only likes quality work.

You are forgetting that we are talking Canadian Dollars vs US.

The average price for a quality tint job in the Toronto area is around $250. I know because my brother owns a tint shop.

$220 is about right for Formula tints, think that is what they use. We are not talking about Tint king job here.

$220 is not expensive for a quality film and good install.

I had mine done by Richard the owner of thornhill tints.
The overall tint was not bad but i ended up with dirt on the rear corners of both rear doors. I then went to get my new bumper wrapped with a clear bra as he does that also. I made an appointment and drove the hour from Mississauga to get it done as i got there as i was leaving the next day to drive to Atlanta and Florida. I get there and he sees the dirt and i tell him i don;t care right now i need to get the bumper done to install it that night. He turns around and said oh i thought you were dropping it off???????? Why the **** would i want an appointment then when i told you i am leaving tomorrow ? He says he is booked and too busy to do it right now. To say i was pissed would be very short of the truth. I told him **** it and left as i had no more time to waste with him complaining about he has too much business. I went to 3m trimline and paid more and got it done right and fast.

BTW if you are uneasy about having your door skins removed don;t go to them as he takes all the door tirm off to get lower on the window. Great in theory but it still loosens all the tight plugs holding them.
