Finally a tire thread I can answer with experience w/both tires.

The 452's are ok, they are quieter than the Toyo's and the ride is a little more sedate. They were a little mushy so the turn in was kind of wobbly. The traction is good, dry & wet but nothing to write home about. They're good for their price. I am not sure how treadware is.

The T1R's are above average in terms of loud and harshness, not in an "omg this sucks" way, but they can be loud - a little more than PS2's for example. The sidewall, despite what someone said in that other thread (?), is not large; it's rather small. The entire tire tends to run small (ex: a T1R 275 is about 5mm smaller than a PS2); the traction is above average wet & dry, so that's the tradeoff. Treadware is average, so not great.

PS2 on an '04 Z? I didn't think they even made the PS2 in the correct size until more recently. My G had PS1 OE.

Sorry my bad. You must mean the PS1 though since that's what came as OE 18".

Alright i need a new rear tire due to a nail

So I will be replacing both rears now.

The Falkens is about $264 cheaper.

Read some good and bad things about both tires.

What is surprising is that even though the Falken's are cheaper, a lot of people like them.

Major difference between is that the Falken is more comfotable to ride on and therefore a little handling is given up vs the stock Bridgestones. The T1R's are much better in handling than stock and falken's.

I just need to know if the falken will be more than sufficient for me.

This will be on a mix setup of stock up front and falken's on rear.

225/40/19 Front
245/40/19 Rear
If your in toronto, give me an email..

Well Two places cannot get the Falken's 452 anymore.
I found one place that can. But it will take at least a week to come in.

I am really annoyed right now.

I ordered mine from www.discounttiredirect.com. After shipping, tax and conversion they were still cheaper then getting them in Canada. I think the name of the person I dealt with was Henry. Ask them to give you a break on shipping charges.

Thanks for the contact and info but a little too late

After calling a million and one tire shops, Tire World in Brampton will get them tomorrow and then installed them as well. I will be paying about $100 more or so but ah well.

Most of the other shops were quoting $100 cheaper but a wait time of AT LEAST one week.

Seeing that they have been in business for years, I think having them install it should be a no brainer, other than telling the installers that there are TPMS sensors so that they are careful with the install.
