Thanks for the memories, I threw up in my buddies Chevette at the Brunswick
house years (many years ago).
I think you need to talk to a specialist like Kevin, here is link to his page http://gtaindetail.com I know he is extremely busy but might have some advice for you that you can try yourself.
Good luck.

A cheap alternative is get out your scrub brush, a wash pail with some carpet shampoo and a wet shop vac. Spray it down with rubbing alcohol after a thorough cleaning and when it is somewhat damp. Use a dry towel to help dry it after that.

Drag your buddy by the scruff of the neck and make him clean it up to your satisfaction Manbir. People should be responsible for their actions, at least that's the way it worked when I was your age (just a few years ago
).

Or does the alcohol do the same thing?

I've read about those products on one of the boat forums I belong to and they highly reccommended them.Originally Posted by inTgr8r

Manbir,
I can get you some chemicals that could help out with the smell. Like InTgr8r mentioned, it is enzyme based and will break the smell down .
I don't think the Alcohol will help any... I work in a school and I 've cleaned up lots of "various spills" through the years.

Yes, we do use them. They work well over about a 48 hour period and actually eat the bacteria causing the odour. The carpet or upholstery needs to be cleaned as well as possible and then sprayed with the enzyme liberally over the area, preferably while damp. Zep makes a good product called odourstroyer extra. Used liberally the alcohol will help kill the bacteria. It may take a couple of applications and isn't quite as effective but is cheap and easy. It's also a very good product to use on fabric in addition to a cleaner to help remove stains like coffee.

Totally agree. Can't imagine doing that and not being responsible for cleaning it or paying for it to be cleaned. Originally Posted by GEE35X

You're right, it won't unless the original "mess" is properly cleaned and mostly lifted first as I described.Originally Posted by 35bills
