I know that it is very easy for a car to go off the track at Shannonville although I was able to keep my G35 on the track last time that I went.
There's a 10K limit on a 70K+ car...
Sounds to me like it's to keep your Juan Fangio alter ego in check.

Also, with an instructor in the right seat....
I don't see things getting too badly out of shape.

yeah... i'm not worried about this. use your head and u should be fine. i would also think that these cars can take an off-track beating as well should the moment arise.

i emailed ian about what final amount goes on our cheques. also forgot... who is this payable to? just aae?

Please return the above forms and payment to:

Ariel Atom Experience
c/o Trak Motorsports Inc.

15815 Keele Street
King City, ON
L7B 1A3 Canada
I would presume payment to go to Trak Motorsports , with note A.A.E. July 18th
I can check though.

I was going to send payment in full, so I don't have to remember later.
Total is: $495 + $29.70 GST = $524.70

May as well pay in full now, besides if only downpayment is sent, then remainder is due no later than 60 days prior to the event.
There's only 48 days to July 18th....

Sent mine today......can't wait......wooooohooooo..

hey everyone... when looking over the waiver... i noticed the SIN request. i don't really like giving out my SIN to people unknown to me... and wasn't really sure why it was needed in the first place. so i contacted mark and asked him if i could use my driver's license # or something else instead. here was his response:
Hi Roman,

The waiver form was just included in the package so that you could have a
chance to read it ahead of time if you wanted to. This document will need
to be signed at the track. No, we do not need your SIN number.

We felt that it was better to have the waiver available ahead of time so
that clients could read it, instead of just asking them to sign and having
no time to read it at the track. It is a standard waiver for events such as
this.

Look forward to seeing you at the track.
so if u don't want to submit your SIN ... no worries. cheers.

Let's just hope that my car stays on the track.

Payment sent by express post. It should be there Monday before 5:00.

Yahoooo! I can't wait either.

This is going to be a blast. I can't believe that everybody else is passing up this great oppourtunity to experience Shannonville with a real track car. This is going to be like going ultimate go-carting. I mean that is what this car is, an oversized fast as h3ll go-cart.

I'm not going to be able to sleep now until July 18th because I'll be thinking of running through the gears in the Atom.

I mean did you see the first video that Ian posted. That is the most excited that I've ever seen Hammond when he was test driving the Atom and he has driven the Veyron and just about every other high end car ever made.

lol... i share your sentiments. this is probably one of the greatest driver's car's ever built. i just hope i can stop smiling after it's all said and done... before i turn into the joker on my way home.

sammy... i see the nice r1 in your sig. if your interested... i was thinking about riding my triumph down. if u want we can go together. still aways to go... and i'm sure we'll all be planning something as the time approaches. but just something to chew on.

That definitely sounds like a plan! I just don't want to be too sore by the time I get to the track from riding the R1. (not the most comfortable bike to ride if you know what I mean )

Maybe if we ride real fast then it won't take as long and I won't be as sore when we get there. We'll just have to outrun the OPP.

Maybe if I can get some serious sadle time on the R1 between now and then, my @ss, arms and legs will be toughened up enough by July for the ride down.

Hey you guys aren't the only bikers here. If your butt gets sore, and you want a break, I'm sure someone can spell you on the R1 or the TR........

Glad you could work it out guys.......yes it'll be a blast......and Sam, don't forget we're with an instructor who'll instruct, so if we do as he says I don't see how they can assess any liability to us.....

Damn, I just sent mine regular post. Never even thought of any other way.
Fingers are crossed it'll get there on time.......
I'm sure it will. It's only Cambridge to GTA and it went out this morning...

July 18 should be quite an experience for me anyway....some of you guys have had some track time b4 but I haven't.
I'm lookin' forward to it as we all are.. Will be nice to get together too.....

Colin.

Colin.
