Allright I'm in. The big city didn't excite my lady so coming up by myself.

Hopefully the weather will cooperate for this trip.

Recommendations needed for economical accommodations for several nights. Anything else going on in TO I should plan for? Lots of flexibility with my time and plans.
Yahoooooooo, we get to see our buddy Deane.......kudos and kisses to H for cutting you loose for a couple days.........

We've got a little time to work out a schedule and to line up accom's and activities.....

Great news Deane.........

Thanks Colin. Looking forward to seeing all the guys and meeting a few of you folks for the first time.

H was great. I started it off by showing her the Clarkson video. She thought it was something I would love and really encouraged me to go...or maybe she just wanted me out of the house. LOL

Yeah, there is time for sure Colin. I want to book my plane soon though so want to think about when to travel.

I guess we'll pray for good weather or I will be $hitt out of luck for a rain date I guess.

Nice to chat on the phone Deane......always a pleasure....

Hahaha, yeah, Being the last date of their schedule in Shannonville, I think we're all sol for rain dates.....unless a rain date is good for when they're in town again....

Good move on the vid. .. H is a sweetheart for reading your mind like that.....or did you tell her that we were all going first? (hint, hint, hint.. )..-- good move man, it worked.....

So you need to book the plane fare soon? Which means we need to decide on your schedule of stay......
You and I and Ian need to chat by pm about some dates then - we'll be in touch soon then, but it rather sounds like arrival on Tuesday, July 17, and stay until Friday, the 20th....

Sounds like a plan man.........

More soon.
Colin

Yeah, great to talk to you Colin. I appreciate all your help.

I gave her a brief description of the car, the event and the guys attending, the vid clinched it.

I'll be in touch soon.

+1. Hey Kevin, this will be an event worth remembering. It's something that should be outside of my plans too but what the heck.

Sooo .....anyone afraid?

.....That they might want one
So far, only one Canadian has a street legal Atom. Mississauga lawyer Chip Petrillo brought his car into Canada disassembled and then had it constructed here, which he claims made it easier. His local Acura dealer installed the road package, which comes as a complete kit, and includes fenders, headlamps, turn signals, a parking brake and an extra brake light. The 6-point safety harness and roll cage are way beyond Ontario requirements.

Chip and wife Mona have put about 750 miles on the car in its first month.

“It’s just about the most fun you can have on four wheels,” he says.
hmmmmmm

....ummm she'd never go for it
