New Toy for me to play with!
i'll be joining the D80 club soon
Just gotta get some other expenses out of the way first
can't wait!
btw, what kind of lens is that? I'm thinking of getting the 18-200VR lens and 50mm prime lens to start off first...

D200 is hardcore photography, unles syou are really into photography or you going professional that is nice otherwise too much camera. And if you are a pro , mind if you post some tips on where to take photograph of a car and what is the best way to do it.
Hey ***** do you want to one night take pics at the IBM parking lot I have this idea of a few gs parking at each level and take on overhead shot
Cool and anybody that see this maybe we can get a group picture together or something. Or anybody that knows of some good public spots even. I am thinking even the level parking at Fairview say 10pm where is empty and just us gs in some sort of Garage pic.

How about Sunday night or dusk time and we go check for spots to take photographs. Keep an eye out at like wearhouse etc I know the TD build across the IBM on steeles has a large open parking lot. IBM has the level parking etc. Anyways these are just ideas that I had and wanted to try taking some night shots etc.

if you want a good photoshoot location in RH, you should try one of the CGI parking lots....it's got a covered area and open areas.

or the Commerce Gate underground parking lot...one of the corners has surprisingly good lighting...(if you have a good camera
)

just my 2 cents..

. thank god i can still use some of my old bags and tripods. i thought i would forget a lot b/c it's been so long... but i had no problems taking pics. the only thing that throws me off is the iso adjustments. with film it was always fixed to the film being used. adjusting iso on the fly really gives u a lot more flexibility. can't wait to play around with it.
For $1400, is that with the 18-135mm kit lens? I'll be looking into a D80 soon as well. Just can't decide what lens to go with. Looks like 18-200mm VR is pretty good overall. But heard of some "lens creep" once you are zoomed to the max (i.e. lens housing fully extended). But VR is definitely a good feature. Also read reviews that Prime Lenses are still much better for image quality. Zoom lenses are more flexible. Smaller f/stop = larger aperture = better lens for low light photography. Whether or not the prices will fall a bit in a few months. Would like to get it on sale. See the dilemna I'm in.

BTW, nice pics.

BTW, nice pics.
