An FYI on Ontario gas....
i had noticed with the v power at least on my bmw the mileage shot way up within 10 minutes of driving i had used 91 from petro before that. the only downfall of shell is i've noticed the gas gauge sticking a little bit from time to time, this again on my bmw
all this and the petro points....140,000 and counting.

I'll know in a few weeks after our trip to Shannonville if the V-Power juice yields more mpg's and quicker starting.....(in the M)
I fancy that the Acura (CSX) performs better on V-Power but too early for anything definitive.....still evaluating in it too.......
I may be giving all my P-points (100k) to Mom for her Focus....

I wrote an email to Shell requesting information about their V-Power fuel and this was their reply:

It is unlikely that this change will be measurable in consumer driving. It is not expected that it will take longer to turn over when starting the engine, on the contrary.
Do not hesitate to contact me may you havefurther question or concern.

I'm not sure I fully understand Mr Henry's answer with respect to "turning over",------ Is that speed of turnover of the engine or does he mean for the engine to turn over longer or shorter to start the engine???
It's been suggested here that with Shell V-Power, the engine seems to fire (and thusly start) a little quicker.
I would disagree that 2-3% difference in fuel mileage would be "unmeasurable".......
That difference could easily be noticed and measured in the long term with a little care and control of testing..
As soon as I use more of it I'll get a better feel for all round performance.

As far as the 2-3% thing I think that it may be a little difficult for many of us to gauge, myself included, as we don't necessarily drive the same all the time. That may be different when you're on the highway as you'll likely be driving at a more consistent speed. I look forward to seeing the results from your testing.
I'll post up with some info soon.....
