Boy oh boy... people sure do like my butt... Q4 06, I was rear ended by a SUV, which luckily only chipped my paint because of his licensce paint...

But this time, I am not so lucky, on my way to work on the stupid DVP... some lady in a IS300 rear ended me... I saw her coming too...but could only ease up my brakes a bit since I had only a fender length between me and the car in front (that feeling is horrible.... and helpless..).

However, on the flip side, I did get a body shop to do a quick check (pulled all the panels and liners in the trunk) to see if there is any "internal" damage ... and I only need to replace my bumper and repaint my NISMO rear...

On the flip flip side, I am glad that my brakes were great (kudos to Hawk and Racing brakes...) and that I got to take a 335xi home ...


I think I need a plate that reads like: Stay Clear 10m... my G can outbrake you...

 

335xi vs. my G

It could be the crappy El42 on the 335 or it is the softer suspension on the X... the car has so much more body roll than my car and the it just doesn't corner like my G.

Yet, the X drive really helps planting the twin turbo power onto the ground . I can feel the torque across the powerband with only a tad of turbo lag

 

that sucks bro...I know the feeling very well. I don't know how you commute on the DVP every day and stay sane behind the wheel. I know I'd have some serious road rage. How did you end up with a 335? Is that a loaner from work?

The saddest thing is that I so saw it but couldn't do anything since the guy in front of me panic stopped... that's why I get frustuated when people tailgate me.

As of the 335... I really hate the tires and soft suspension lol..but it is my test car for my department at work =)

It is a pre production car too..so it is totally debadged =)
