Tips on buying a used car
For those of you who have purchased a used car before can you please give me some advice as to what I should look for when purchasing. I am looking at buying a winter car as I want to keep my G35c as my summer car. Any help would be appreciated.
Thanks
Peter
Thanks

1. Determine your budget
2. Figure out what type of vehicle you are interested in (i.e. sedan, coupe, SUV, etc...)
3. Investigate options in your budget/vehicle type and select several choices
4. Research your selections online to assess reliability/pros & cons of each vehicle
5. Begin searching for vehicles on your shorlist. do not rush or make impulse buys when looking for used vehicles. take your time
6. When you have found a suitable car and have established a "subject to" offer, HAVE THE CAR INSPECTED AT A REPUTABLE INSPECTION CENTRE
7. Based on the inspection proceed with final negotiations and arrive at agreed price, or walk on the deal if inspection reveals major deficiencies. If you walk, go back to step 5.
8. Enjoy the winter car.
