Time, Don't Waste It!!

I posted this almost a year ago in the OT section and I thought it held significant value in day to day life. For those that haven't seen it, I'd love to hear your comments. IMO, this vid is bang on! For me, it's just nice seeing something positive being posted on the forum as opposed to the daily negative and trivial stuff.

definitely very thought provoking Shane. I had not seen that before, or I can't remember seeing it.
I have often thought how valuable my time is and what I should do with it and you become more aware of this as you become older. I usually try to use my time wisely, and that can be from doing the tado list to helping others that can use the help. Life is short, so make the best of it

Great vid, once again Shane........

I first realised "the value" some years ago when I lost my Dad......and it made me aware of how precious time is.
I didn't always fully appreciate the time spent with him, but I look back now and know how important that time was for me, and how lucky I really was.

Time is so precious.

C.

Yeah, this is one of the few vids that really mean something to me. You add Deane's post about Skidboot and that's all I really need as far as meaningful posts here.

Thanks for the post Shane. It is thought provoking. If we all lived every day like it was our last one we probably would be doing it right.

Thanks for sharing this video Shane, it definitely hits home and makes us wonder why we would waste even a precious second. I've only been visiting driver since October of last year, but I too am growing tired of the focus on the trivial aspects of public life (heiress arrests, speeding, etc.). It was nice to login and see something with a fresh perspective (even if it is a repost )

Just to engage discussion, I disagree. I wouldn't make any sort of investment if today was my last day because I'd yield no return. I'd prolly do drugs, skydive meh, I dont know... have a BLAST. Maybe try to meet someone important.

I threw in my 2 cents' worth in OT. I figure they need the advice more than you guys do.

Fair enough.

I'm a very planned person that thinks a lot about the future. When I wrote my post I was thinking more about doing what is really important in life.... appreciating and spending time with people that are important to you. If you speak to anyone that is dying with a short time line that is one true realization most people have.

Good one bro! The first time when I heard of the bank acct thingy... I was like WOW, it was almost a wake up call for me.

Even if tmr is my last day, I will try to make the best out of today. That's just me at least =)
That's why people like to say, live everyday as if today is the last!

Keep it up everyone
