Btw... we will have a 335 Cab next week as test car, I will try to snap some pics lol =)

(I don't think they will let me take the cab home tho...)

no it doesn't have a "stock" blowoff. it re-circulates the air back into the intake system somewhere. so you don't hear the whoosh of a regular blow-off. installing a blow off that dumps the air into the atmosphere may cause the engine to run rich every time you shift or lift off the gas. the blowoff is after the maf so a/f is calculated assuming the air from the blowoff is being recycled and not dumped.

but it makes a really cool sound. so it's up to you...

Thanks to everyone who answered my question. I have a blowoff valve on my Stealth so I was just curious how it worked in the bimmer. I have no interest in the 335i personally, it was simple curiosity. Guess it works the same as in the Audi.

Godmans, what do you do for a living....work for Motor Trend or something? WHat's with the "test car" ?
