Good thing you have Vegas to keep you company.
You've got that right Ian. I've been trying to keep busy doing things around the house while she is gone. I've also done a few updates to the house that she has wanted to do, but we've never gotten around to it. I think it will be a nice surprise for her when she gets home.

Thats the way to do it! My bro's wife and daughter left for 4 weeks so he's been doing work at my mom's house. He installed a full laundry room of cabinets, Tiled the FLoor & him and I installed granite slab counters in the laundry room as well last week. Keeping busy is the way to go. My mom's very happy right now

It's just different having the house all to myself.....kinda weird really.
Sorry to hear Shane, but I did chuckle to myself picturing you sitting by the fire talking to the dog.

Way to make points, there, Shane. Maybe she will have a nice surprise for YOU when she gets home. After all, Ava is going to need a little brother soon...

It's been going great so far Wayne, thanks for asking. I am only 3 days into the job, but it's definitely been a nice change of pace. Having a group of people report directly to you is not something I am used to, but I think I am really gonna enjoy it.

I must agree, some time away can only make you appreciate the wifey more. A little time apart can do wonders!
