You can clean under there if you're careful and take your time and cover all/most electrics......but unless you take your time it's advisable not to get too much water under there..such as with a garden hose....

If you went slowly with simple green and didn't use much water, you should be fine.....
If you go with the suds, water flushing etc etc, you should wrap/cover all electrical connections..... which would be hard to do.....

If it were me, I'd go slowly with a bottle of simple green and get what I could.
It would take me longer to do, but would be a lot safer that way...

Hi Colin,

Thanks for the advice. I plan on using simple green and wet cloth to remove the dirt. I dont feel comfortable hosing down my engine bay.
