Help: Buying a used 04 G German Star Motors
Hi Guys,
I want to know if any of you have had any experience buying from German Stars Motor in Toronto. Im looking at an 04 G sedan prem and aero 92,000km for $21K. What do you guys think?
Other than having the car inspected by Infiniti\CAA and an accident report should i be doing anything else to make sure im getting my moneys worth?
thanks

German star motors, I am kind of iffy about. They have had the same 03 coupe listed for sale in the last year; despite that whenever I call, they tell me it has been sold and they will get me another one or something. I think they have a deal with a Nissan/Infiniti to take all their lease returns or something. Also the dealership is in a pretty shady area, so it is up to you. I would try to deal with the poster offer above, you will know everything about it at least and know the car has been properly taken care of.

If that's your gut feeling. Go with it. Go far away from this dealer with it.
I don't see a shady dealership discount reflected in you cost. Shady discount should be 3-5 grand below market. Why take the risk of knowing you should have walked when the hsit hits the fanbelt.
GL with your search.

Is this place to be avoided at all costs?

Since I haven't dealed with them personally; I can't say. I had one of my friends check it out for me and he said it is definately looked pretty shaddy. I would check their BBB report; see if any complaints in the past few years. Then after that; do a google on their name and see what comes up. Might also want to post this up on www.my350z.com or www.redflagdeals.ca to get more opinions.
Good luck.

I went there and the guy told me cars here are off lease US vehicles which explains why they are cheaper then Canadian counter parts however Im a little scared of buying a US Car Ive read there is a chance these cars could be written off as lemons in the states and shipped to Canada to be sold, anyone else had this experience?
