Getaway places... ? (mini-vacation)

Hi guys,

Im looking to go to a getaway location/place for a few days with a few friends, any suggestions? Wasaga is a good place, but i thought i try a new place.

I'll be taking the SUV, the G will be hibernating in the garage, so offroad is totally fine.

Thanks

You haven't listed what your trip should involve. Fishing, golf, nightlife?? When are you doing the trip?

I'm off for the next two weeks and it's going to consist of a ton of golf and photography - likely with many evenings of Guinness drinking.

That's awesome Ian. If Anissa and I already didn't have a Europe trip booked, we probably would of went to Paris as well. I saw some deals last week for various dates in October and the prices were amazing.

Direct flight from TO, 8 nights in a 4 star hotel in Paris including breakfast, and all transfers from the airport for $869 plus tax per person. I thought that was pretty damn good.

When are you going? Have you been there before.

1st time for me, Pat was there a few years ago (the backpack Europe after school thing)

We're headed over in mid October.....
rented an apartment for the week in the 2nd arrondissement near the Louve, the Montorgueil area on the right bank.
Needless to say, we're doing the count down
