Nikon D200;
Nikkor 12-24mm f:4;
Manfrotto tripod (can't recall the model number)
I did have my 50mm f1.8 and 105mm f1.8 micro with me, but these displays just cried for the 12-24. It's this sort of shooting that makes me glad that I didn't scrimp on glass. The Nikkor stuff is the way to go, if you can live with the premium over 3rd party stuff.

As for the question, re: food, we didn't eat there so I can't speak for quality, but plenty of people seemed to be enjoying a mix of cuisine - Chinese being the main staple and Pizza Pizza supplying their products... Didn't really notice much else. Mind you, these were all small shack type things that were set up just for the festival - I believe there is a restaurant on site, but not certain.
