We've lucked out so far. Only 2-3 cms of snow before it turned to steady rain. +3 right now here and drizzle.

That is a good web site. I'll have to see if we have something similar. Sackville looked pretty weird on that link.

I just got in from snow blowing the driveway and we've got a good 15-20 cms down and it's still snowing hard. I am taking Ava to my Parent's place shortly and it might be a tricky drive.

Be safe.

I just read that story in the paper of the tobogganer in Hampton. No name is mentioned but your folks might know him.

We have a tiny mist going but I don't trust it's over yet.

I just got back from Hampton and the highways are really bad. They haven't been plowed in awhile. Some good winter tires and some common sense can go along way though. Also, there was next to no traffic so that made it easier.

That 8 year old boy in Hampton that died was unbelievably tragic. I don't know them myself, however my sister knows the parents. Since she works for the RCMP, she got the details of what happened. The father was in the inner-tube along with his son........so it's hard to imagine what he is going through right now. Truly a sad story.

Caught the national weather forecast this morning and it sounds like you guys are still getting the snow down East. Hang in there.

^ Yep we sure are Wayne. We got over 20cms yesterday and are expected to get another 15-25 cms tonight and tomorrow. It's been a long long time since we've had a winter like this.

Thanks Wayne. We only had a couple of cms yesterday versus forecasted 20-25 which went away with the rain and warmer temps. Tonight is only 5 cm forecast with heavy rain afterwards. With temps expected above freezing it should be ok.

You guys hang in with what seems to a bit colder weather.

Good luck Shane. It's been a tough start but I'm sure we'll have relief soon.

I snowblowed the drive this morning and we got a good 25cms of snow and it's still snowing. I got stuck for almost an hour this morning too which really sucked. Wayne, is there any way I can fit in your suitcase and go to Mexico with you?
