Yeah, it was my bright idea since I've been tired of buying those crusty old dry trees available on the lots. Seems nothing is reasonably fresh. I've determinded the tree I bought this year is a left over from last year.

The farm is only a couple of kms from my parents place. Well it was good exercise. I wouldn't give in to the temptation to just cut anything after all that work.

We can find some good tree farms but they're 200+ km road trips.

Nice pics Shane. You'll treasure those ones of Ava for years to come.

I just got back from the gym and it is messy driving. H's Sunfire with snows actually works decent. Way better than my van.

Yeah it could be a biggie but it's actually been downgraded here with 15-20 cms snow. The real mess is the 40mm of rain starting around 9-10pm tonight and temps of +11 tomorrow, then turning cold again. It's -8 right now so a fast warm up seems to be due.

Karen wanted to take a pic then and I wouldn't give her a chance. Later we were outside having a snow fight and we were making more angels, she ran in and got the camera after she kicked snow in my face when I was down, and this is that pic .

Of course we don't let a bit of snow cancel our weekly barbeque.
Here I am barbequeing our steaks tonight and enjoying an extra cool Brewski, I love barbequeing

Shane, Karen and I enjoyed your pics. Ava has sure grown since we last saw her. When Karen saw the pic of her she just went 'awwwwwww" she could not believe that was Ava.

Priceless pics, Wayne, nothing more Canadian than BBQing and drinking beer in the snow. Just looking at it made me thirsty, on my way downstairs for a Rickards.
