And that is why I keep my seatbelt on while seated!! I've been on some rough flights, but nothing like this. Must have been absolutely terrifying for the passengers (and crew!). Sure bet a few of them will NEVER board a plane again.

Yeah, that was a rocky ride. What I've read and seen seems to indicate it was likely rogue turbulence so not sure about what those passengers claimed the captain stated.

I keep my belt on too.

For sure, kudos to them, they went through the same ordeal and still have to be the voices of comfort and reason.

Good thing it was an Air Canada flight, if it was West Jet there would have been more than 10 people on board. lol

I feel sorry if there was a guy in the bathroom doing his business. I recall at least 20 separate times in the last year when I was on a flight, and the 'seatbelt ' sign was on, and I was in the bathroom.

The horror, the horror...
