'Tis the Season...

Well, it's that special time of year in our great country.
I got my handy-dandy rim un-roller tool out of storage yesterday:

Yeah, I know. I'm so ashamed...

Hey where did you get the rim-unroller???? that looks pretty handy if it works well.

I just got my first tim horton's coffee in several months and I've got the worst stomach ache ever. I don't know how you Canucks drink this crap.

To make it even worse, the cup asked me to buy another cup.

LOL, Christian, I was the same years ago. You have to take it slow and let your stomach get acclimatized to it's strong, caffiene laden taste. I actually like it now, but I can't drink any more than a medium black.

I'm used to strong and caffeine laden coffee, I normally start my day with a grande with room cafe americano from Starbucks. No sugar, no cream, it makes me do this .

Tim's coffee it way too weak for me. The best judge for strength of brew is if the bubbles are almost too dark to see through - and that the spoon would dissolve whilst stirring (assuming anything were added to the brew).

Double double: if you wanted a cup of milk and sugar, why did you order coffee?

I was waiting in line at Lee Valley Tools one day last year and they had a display of these with a bunch of empty cups to test drive them on.
I'm not a lazy bastard (OK, I am), it's more of a conversation piece than anything else.

Much better than cutting the web between your thumb and index finger while cutting the rim with scissors. Don't ask me how I know that.

Those aren't my hands - I do work in an office, but mine aren't the least bit unscathed (see above).

Tims coffee is not too bad and will certainly do in a pinch. It's much better than than an overpriced Starbucks IMO. My first choice of coffee is is Java Moose. It's only available locally in Saint John and far surpasses good ole Timmies.

I rarely buy coffee though. I keep a jar of instant coffee in my office along with a kettle and make my own. It's not near as good as Java Moose, but saves me lots of money each month.

I will not drink instant coffee. We have the coffee perking here at home every morning, that's what I prefer

When I work from home I do as well. Thankfully, instant is only for the office.

I was in line behind someone once who ordered a medium triple triple. Yikes. Why not just cut off your foot now and bypass the 20 years of diabetes leading up to it?

Good stuff, bro.
I have a hell of a time with those rims with cold hands and could use something like that.......

I have to admit to drinking instant at home sometimes unless someone's over. My wife is a tea drinker (but she's otherwise OK),
and I don't often grind beans and make a pot just for myself.

Workdays I leave for the office as soon as I'm dressed and pick up an XL black at Tim's in the lobby of my building (how handy is that?) on the way in.
The in-house coffee service on my floor uses Starbuck's House Blend and I normally drink that for the rest of the day - it doesn't suck, and it's free.
