It's a quote on an 03-04 G35 Coupe. I'm still looking for the one I want...most places nearby have Sedans and automatics .

It's funny that you feel that way. I found "The Personal" group work plan(Shell Canada) had increased a bit year by year. Last year I checked around with a few insurance companies and found "Direct Insurance" saved me over a $1000.00 a year for all my insurance needs. Enough to cancel my policy with "The Personal" and sign up with "Direct Insurance". My insurance for the 350Z roadster is around $50/mth.

$600/year for insurance on the Z is definitely a great deal if it's full coverage. You must be about 65 or 70 years old to get that.

LOL ..your too funny

No I'm much younger than that but the roadster isn't the only car I fully insure with a clean record, and plus, I have no children living at home. Not only that, you get insurance cost breaks if you insure everything through one company. You should know this.

Jealousy doesn't suit you

LOL. Yeah I thought you were maybe a few years younger than that.

I've never heard of a rate that low for that kind of car. I have no children at home either, have a clean record and insure everything through one company as well. I've done that for the past 23 years I've owned both a home and car. What makes you think I didn't know that?

It's not jealousy you're sensing, it's disbelief.

Your right, it was total disbelief when I was quoted the rates from Direct Insurance and compared them to The Personal. then I went from disbelief to outrage that I've been overpaying on my insurance needs. I called my broker and inquired why there rates were so much higher and I got sympathy from the broker but not a rate decrease. Needless to say, I let the policies expire and bought insurance from Direct Insurance. I couldn't believe the rate for insurance on the roadster either, 2 mil PLPD, $1500 collision deductible, $50 deductible on f/t/v (no glass) and 100% replacement insurance on the first year, and then pro-rated on the next 2 years. It will be interesting to see if the prices stay the same at renewal. Unfortunately The Personal wouldn't match or even come close to pricing on their quote.
