Wow!! A customer dropped off their Altima to me today and will be picking it up tomorrow after supper. I washed it today, claybarred it, and did one pass with the PC using a yellow pad and Menzerna Power Gloss. I will definitely need to do another pass with PG tomorrow.

dang, that looks beyond buffing out. i hope you're charging by the hour.
The owner of the Alty is a female in her 40s and she hasn't had any paint protection on it since she bought it new in 2003. The only wash it has had since 2003 has been via automatic car washes. Needless to say, the car was in BRUTAL shape when she brought it to me today. I'll post some final pics tomorrow once it's all done, and hopefully it turns out ok. Something tells me that I will definitely be earning my money with this job. 
That's definitely nasty Shane. You'll need that yellow pad and strong cutting polish. I've done some nasty ones lately myself.

I'm still using poor boys and I also have some 0106FF. We really need the cutting power and speed of a rotary. You could do that job in 1/4 the time but risk ruining the paint.

Hopefully I will do a decent job Deane, and I am sure it will be great as far as the customer's opinions are concerned. My problem is that I am a perfectionist and I think that this paint will take much longer to get right that I am given.Originally Posted by RBull
