Motul -G35 Cold Northern Alberta Climate

I used to run Motul in my old 300Z and it was great can anyone offer me any advice for our G35's and Motul. Just wondering if the colder weather here might cause an issue. My old tuner says no but he was from California so I am not sure if I can take his word. This Canadian weather sure is cold.

Maybe I should just get you phone number so we can chat. I run Motul with no issues I only drive my car in the summer but guys I know run it in the winter with no issues. Make sure you get your coolant tested I know a guy that imported a Z from AZ and didnt check the coolant it froze and cracked his block.

Had no problems running 0w40 Motul 8100 on my Z in winter. But I agree with Sylvan Lake, check your coolant and make sure it's proper ratio.

So you're not from AB, then? I hear ya about Ft. Mc though, I spent a winter there working a coker shutdown at Syncrude (my work was inside, luckily) and it was 40 frickin' below for a solid MONTH.

Thanks for the advice I will have my coolant checked and flushed very soon. Not sure how long I am here for 6 months maybe a year. Yes they had to pay me dearly to get me out of Cali. I lived in Newport and very close to the beach and the bikinis. I just imagine up here LOL. I like it here the people are cool but way to laid back. It is amazing anything gets done up here. One thing I never anticipated is how much everything costs up here. I feel like I have to cut one of the boys off each time I buy something. LOL

I was there over 20 years ago, can't imagine what it's like now.
