A squeak and a grunt ?

Yesterday when I started the G I heard a squeek from the lower left ( standing facing the G ). It lasted for about 6 seconds and sounded like a squeal, bearing? It happened later that day when I started it again and has not happened since. Then, when I got out of the G it groaned from the rear end. When I got in it did the same. This also only happened then and not since.
BTW Ian, I did not find the 20 pounds you lost, so the G is not complaining about my weight. Very strange day.
Any thoughts?

LOL, no Wayne I don't. I wouldn't carry the extra weight cuz I still have a spare. Besides the piggy was usually in the back seat as I recall. The custodian at school suggested it could be the water pump up front and dirt on the springs.

Deane, it's all about perspective, eh? If I stand on my head in front of the G the noise would be on the upper right, right? If I'm on my back ....

Don't ask the custodian, they don't know anything!!!!!

Sam,

Were you driving when this occured or at a stand still?

Have you had your belts replaced recently?

I'm easy to get along. The perspective of the owner is what is important.

It was at start up only Bill. I'm gonna have the belts done at 130 km, I'm at 128 now. BTW custodians are a wealth of information, they always have an opinion, and are often quite right. Must be all the time they have to read mags and surf the net .
I can't decide if I should take the G to Guelph to have the work done or make an appointment to see Vic up in Newmarket. I have a list of things and don't know if I still trust Guelph to give me the straight goods in light of some recent posts. It'd be a long haul to get to Vic. Decisions, decisions.

I had Vic change my belts changed at 98k. They were squeeling like a little puppy.
