Brakes are fading

My brakes started to fade ever since my car had 9,000ish km on it. Now I have 11,000ishkm and it's getting pretty bad. My steering wheel vibrates and you can feel the car judder. I'm sure this incident: https://g35driver.com/forums/g35-sedan-v36-2007-08/223430-almost-hit-someone-brakes-g-rule.html didn't help me in any way...

I'm guessing since I mainly do city driving it's putting more wear on my brakes. However, I'm sure these brakes shouldn't start to fade away so soon? Do you think the dealer will replace them under warranty if brought to attention? Also, is it worth buying cross/slotted rotors?

^yes they will. Your front rotors are warping which is why they are vibrating through the steering wheel.

I agree with Deane it could possibly be warped rotors.
Also you don't put many kliks on your car 11,000 for an 07 is very low, perhaps a sticking brake caliper has caused problems. It's a good idea to disassemble the brakes once a year just to clean things up and lube the pins and slides, has yours ever been done hullio?.

^good advice. If you can feel the car jutter as well through the seats that often means the rear rotors are warped too. My last 5 new cars (except the G with Brembos) have had early warpage. Several cars had them done twice under warranty.

^Not that I know of. I guess a trip to the dealership it is. I also have to get that sunroof piece that falls out fixed along with the steering column rattle.
