Where to order brake parts from? In the GTA? From the US?

I've already talked to Vic over at Simone Performance, but recall people talking about a brake place in Mississauga - Derry? EBC pads? I just can't find it by using the search feature. I just want some prices on parts and install.

I'm also looking at some of the Group Buy vendors in the US - has anyone ordered from them? How was shipping costs and what was duty like?

I'm also 'toying' with the idea of potentially doing the brake job myself. Anyone interested in offering some direction and/or actually assistance? I'm in the GTA.

I've got an '04 coupe, with brembos. Don't want to go OEM, but also don't want to drop in a Rotora 12pot BBK either. Something a slight step up in performance. I'm eyeing the DBAs (4000s or 5000s) or maybe Powerslots. As for pads, obviously Hawks are one choice, but considering even Nismos or Endless even.

Thoughts anyone? Thanks,
Al

There's a couple of local places you could try. The problem with the vendors on this site, is while they offer great deals to people in the US, when they re-quote for shipping to Canada, it goes into "No thanks!" territory. It's not that bad actually, but it's around the same of what I've been quoted locally, and I'd much rather go that route.

Although they're not very good at responding to e-mails (call them)...you can try www.ztune.ca - I thought their prices are quite good for Canada. Mind u, I'm in Edmonton so shipping is not too bad (they are based in Van). They are also sponsors on my350z.

+1 For Ztune. I got my plenum spacer from them, and my exhaust is coming soon. They do usually respond to emails in about 48 hours, but will always answer the phone. Mike S. and the guys there know their stuff. They have very reasonable shipping rates to Toronto.
