I don't yet own a G35x so I was wondering if anyone can tell me what information is available on the trip computer in terms of fuel consumption. Does it provide an updating "instantaneous" fuel consumption value?

I am not sure about the 04 models, but my 03 does not provide this information. I always found that odd because my 03 Alty provided DTE, average fuel economy....etc.

 

Yes if you get the Navi option, your fuel consumption info is very comprehensive.

If provides instant fuel consumption, average f/c, distance to empty, Low fuel warning, directions to nearest gas station, average fuel consum. history, and a trip computer consisting of elapsed time, dirving distance, and average speed.

You also have the option to have US display or Canadian (metric) display.
