Disconnect the battery or NOT???!!! need advice..

To Disconnect or Not....?

By now you should have gotten the idea, there's no reason to disconnect
the battery. Unless of course you enjoy resetting the clock/radio stations etc....

No its not. I have the sun hypertech ground systems that comes with a little control box under the hood. But i would disconnect my battery for the winter why leave it on. Takes two minutes to reset everything IMO

To awaken a dead thread... I park my coupe over the winter, but this winter it was around a few shops having some work done. I dont think it sat longer than 2 months without being started (and always garage parked, not heated or insulated mind you) and the cold fried my battery.

This year I've got it hooked up to a charger on maintenance mode and unhooked from teh car.

FWIW...
If you use a charger to maintain a float charge,
make sure it's a product that is designed for the job.
