G35 picked up doing 250+ km/h

Hey Jasper, I never really looked at your location till a couple days ago... cuz I thought you were living the general area of Jasper ski resort out west. And here I was proud thinking Team Canada has a regular posting GT-R owner. But I was wrong and am no longer proud of you. You broke my heart you bastard! I will sue you for your GT-R and nothing more haha
you'd make a great american...we've got three gt-r owners from canada over at mygtr.com, all good people.
are you referring to ivry prl?
lol! i apologize... i did nothing to help it either... but seriously, how many times can you call someone stupid before you just start making fun of him anyway?
How about this for giving the impression of an ignorant. Although the more I read your posts the more I think you're cool but do you blame me to think many Americans are ignorant? I mean just think of W, he hardly knew anything byond Texas and you guys elected him twice! but finally came to your senses and chose the right one!
and i'm not sure america has 'come to our senses'. i'd love to have to you over in our arrogant political section.
(rbull schools us over there)/off topic useless bull
*edit: fixed a run-on sentence.

*sigh*

CP24 cameras were rolling as police yanked a driver allegedly going 180 km/h on the Gardiner early this morning.
Toronto police pulled the driver over at the Cawthra Road off-ramp.
Under street racing legislation, the car was towed and the driver is facing a hefty fine and licence suspension.

k im only saying this to play devils advocate a little bit.
how do you feel about safety with relation to this incident, and compared to the Autobahn (has no speed limit at times) which has the least amount of injuries out of all of the motorway systems in the world.

1. Autobahn is maintained 100000times better then our ****ty highways....
2. Autobahn is designed around the cars as well as most of the cars that drive on it are highend luxury stable cars.... seldomly will you find a peice of **** compared to a civic on that highway...
3. potholes.... even going at like 60km/h and hitting one will cause problems.
4. i totally agree with the person that mentioned the visibility issue.. what if a person was close to missing their exit and did a sudden lane change? the problem is, everyone thinks they can get away with their radical driving (when needed) but not everyone on the road is thinking exactly how you are. someone else might be drunk, tired, having a bad day, inexperienced, etc. etc. speeds like this is only possible if we had our cars driving themselves and synchronized with all the other cars on the road...
5. ********************************************
i don't mean to bump this thread, just wanted to give my opinion on this subject. i'm really upset though, who knows, the insurance companies might
base our premiums on that stupid headline... going from sport/luxury to sports/performance car type.
a little bit of my history. ******************************* bash me all you want but you know, its a lesson I learned. The First ticket didn't arrive in the mail as i moved so it wasn't until after a lot of money, time at the courts, summons, points etc. and the SECOND TICKET that I finally learned my lesson (i then got owned for the 1st ticket which was auto guilty). I haven't gone over 140km/h ever since. no lie... its like a ****en fear i have now.... you play with fire until you get burned... same thing...
But this is what I was doing. 1st time, I didn't even KNOW.. i was driving my Tl... it felt like 120ish... and barely any cars.... and the road was well lit with my lamps and i was in a hurry to take a ****. lol.. i'm human man... 2nd time... i was casually driving faster and faster without noticing the speed as once again, only felt like i was doing about 100-110. When i came to the exit ramp (with my buddy who was also caught and we got a stunt/street racing ticket) .. the cop came and ticket'd both of us. we both were talking on the phone with different people and had the same car as well. I had a black Tl and he had an IP TL.
When the cop told me I was in **** for racing, i was SHOCKED. I clearly might've not noticed the speed but i certainly wasn't racing.. but to everyone else, we were.
just like that.. this dude might've had his own story .. he is guilty but he stop bashing him over and over again.. the dude will probably never drive over 120 again lol.. a lesson learned. when cops pull me over, they always have something to say about my record, but it was 2 years ago.

nah, come on guys...
I've taken my old civic **** many times, am I stupid...sure, young and stupid!
Now that I have too much to lose, more mature about life, I take it a little easier.
people risk all the time, it's what makes life worth living. If they were really so concerned about speeding, we'd all have governors limiting us to 150. Those who track their car could get a special license to remove the governor, and thus pay a few extra $$ in insurance.
Problem is, hypocracy.
They want you to so called "drive safe and slow", but if we all drove the limit, the police and insurance companies would bankrupt. Why even sell a 300hp car . they give you the means to hang yourself and pay out the a$$. There'd be no more need for radars, half the cops, and insurance couldn't raise your rates for speeding tickets (#1 reason for premiums increase).
Something to think about.

imagine if the same thing happened to our cars.... more traffic and accidents i think..

it would be awesome if we had a track closer then 150km away.... cuz if you think about it that 150k there and back 150km = 300km + at least 100km at the track = 400km considering your at the track and highway driving it balances out to about a gas tank for 400km with now its like 70-80 bucks and about 150$ to enter the track and new brake pads most likely like 80$ and ur supposed go to the mechanic for suspension check up after the track... all the time money and km on the car its not that easy to say its worth doing often unless your car is modded and ur a track enthusiast. and neither of those guys had modded cars and im sure neither would ever consider goin to one anytime soon which is why they most likely did wat they did, we buy fast cars to go fast after all just not being stupid with it...
ps: i was at dunville it was awesome! fried my rear brakes and rotors but it was lots of fun! i have the sport pkg and it was sooooo boncy out the corners!! got the sway bars helped lots with the cornering but coil overs for sure needed for the track sport pkg or not! really after the track you will NOT feel the need to speed as much in the city for all the speeder try the track you will love it!!
