The last time i looked at how much Basic cable costs, it was around $22, Today i called rogers, bell and Star choice, the price is $38/month for basic!!! thats bsss....Than you think why ppl get FTA recievers:S

oh and if u want any international channel, Its $15 Extra for each....:O....

That's about right, that's what our family's paying now... Funny thing is... no one watches TV. -_-

 

if you go telus, they have package deals like 70 channels + phone + adsl = 70$ thats what i have its pretty good

 

i pay ~$140/mo for Shaw internet, phone, HD TV (pvr) package. HD is a must for sports channels, as well as Discovery & National Geo...

^ is that digital HD you're getting for free, or just standard def cable? i believe the TV portion of my bill is ~$75/mo.

 

nah not digitial HD, just the basics.

 

i think my basic is like 8 or 9 bucks, plus a package or x amount of channels, comes out to about 22$ before tax, plus about 6$ or so for the HD channels (basic stuff). pretty cheap, tv portion comes out to about 32$ after tax, the internet makes up the other 75$ (pricey, but reliable, fastish (10Mbps), and at least a respectable cap, 100Gigs)..

 

Basic Cable in Chicago is standard Local TV, BET, MSNBC, TBS and 20 home shopping network channels. I swear that is it!

Who in their right mind whould pay for that!?
