Tint job

Just got a tint job done today, by a company that's been around town for a longtime. Looks like it was done by a five year old. Will be back at the shop tomorrow. Anyone have any tint nightmare stories?

At least they fixed it at no cost to me. They removed and re did the entire rear window:

Is it your first tint?

Because remember, tint does bubble for about 3 weeks until it is fully settled into place with the suns heat and stretching.

Of course you have no photos so theres no way tot ell if it needs settling or if it is truly terrible.

Good luck though.

I wasn't aware of that maybe I'm overeacting! I had a tint done on my truck a few years ago and it was flawless the minute I drove it away. Then again truck windows are pretty much flat window surfaces.

I had mine done two summers ago now and I don't have any complaints.

Well, maybe one. The small dots around the outside edge of the rear window still have some air around them.

Swivel, I can give you a recommendation if you like.

Also depends if it's a metallic tint or not (no not one of the lame silver fade tints) the metallic tints take longer to flatten out. Sometimes up to a month, standard tint can go on flat and stay flat, but won't last as long.

Here are some pics of the tint 15%. I've already noticed some settling in the tint and I am happy with the job.

Taking the car in for the passenger side window to be redone. Its binding in the corner by the mirror. Told the guy to disconnect the battery so the window doesn't adjust while he applies the tint.
