Problems.... and a very crappy nite/drive...
welll..... the verdict is 2 blown cylinders.... i hoped it wouldnt come to it but it did. apparently even with the low boost (5.5psi) with all the other mods i was running to much whp and to close to the limit of blowing up the engine. because of the size of the turbo mixed with an old engine = boom...
all i need is a short block/reworked heads.
next step an engine. options:
1) short block from z1 only 3500$. and keep the keep the rest of my engine with 200,000km on it
2) long block from z1 5000$
3) used low millage engine 700$ <--chance of blowing up again...
4) short block z1 with a newer engine 3500$ +700$
5) other ... anyone has any ideas.
labor is cheap for me cuz my mechanic does feel a bit responsible for what happened.
plz help!

man.... it was one of a kind!!
as much as i hate to see you part out that car, i would love to trade seats and interior with you... instead of you spending 5000$ on a new engine, you can part out the car, sell the parts and buy a new G + with around 120,000kms + 5000$ and STILL keep your rear turbo. ...
just weigh your options real carefully.
don't make any hasty decisions.... and for god sakes.. put those gauges on!! ..

car is 90% done. new engine with 52k is been in for awhile now just waiting on the stand alone ecu because the older one is hard to tune and it simply rejects my bigger injectors. i have a vid of the car popping flames
its just running really safe and just waiting for the new stand alone ecu from Z1 and as soon as the haltech is in the car should be ready to go. since i ordered last week the ecu should be in this week in which case i get the car back with in 2 days of arrival. i honestly cant wait and iv been driving a nissan versa around and let me tell you i cant wait to go from 120 hp to 400+hp

well the engine i have in now is another stock motor with 50k in it, but im building my other blown engine. that im going all out sleeved block with reworked heads port-polish and valves seals bearings all the goodies. i have the hood and the trunk carbon fiber now.
