Erickson Infiniti in Edmonton screws over another customer
Not just another customer, Mrs Shumby!

Bastages. Maybe one or two Edmonton guys could drop in there and 'encourage' them to pull up their socks.

yikes, that sounds brutal. i've seen some other negative feedback on erickson in the past. it will be interesting to hear the outcome after the "stop payment" threat was made. a brand new vehicle should be spotless, period. any shipping damage is always repaired prior to delivery. too bad erickson is edmonton's only choice.
on a side note - i love the fire & venom Mrs Shumby was emitting! she should aim that at the service advisor. if only the Shumby's grammar/spelling was more convincing (especially in a letter to the dealer)...

Looks that way. I wonder if any of the Pontiac dealers that are getting closed would be interested in opening an Infiniti dealership? The guys at Stampede always did good by me when I had my Grand Am.

actually checked the thread yesterday night, it turns out the service guy sent a pissed off e-mail back to his client, so not professional.using words like "give me a break" you cant answer a client who just bought 70K worth car.the guy has every right to be pissed.
the service guy eventually cracked, that e-mail he sent back will probably put him to a lot of trouble i must say he actually deserves.
if i were him,i 'll return back the car to dealer, go with somewhere else.another brand maybe, cause think about it, even they solve this issue u have no alternative to deal with any other place and have to deal with this kind of a service guy all the time , for warranty repairs,10k.20k.40k.60k mechanic checks. cause they r the only one in the city.
Infiniti will lose a lot business there especially with the new car market there, i know second hand will stil remain strong as there r many after warranty places in the province.

Only trouble with b1tching about it on here is most of us are already customers (not me, bought mine used) and so we've already drunk the Kool-aid. I think you have to hit them where it hurts -- potential buyers.
If it were me, and I've seen this done, I'd be tempted to put big signs on the FX saying "Ericksen Infiniti delivers damaged cars" or something to that effect. Then drive it around or even park it in front of the dealership. But then I'm a vindictive old SOB.

When I was buying my car, I was reading through this forum and many others.
Given that people were thinking same way as you Swivel.. thats why dealer I ended up buying my car here, in IL, took me for a ride for a new brakes, brake lines, hoses and many other things..
I think this thread is giving a really good info.
